5K a year 11 days ago 11 days ago 11 days ago The Technical Trainer drives the on the job training processes in manufacturing facilities with a focus for skills excellence, training to standard work, and employee retention.
The TT trains, monitors, audits, and provides training support for the established on the job training process and systems to Supervisors, Team Leads and on the job manufacturing trainers to ensure best practice training.
The TT monitors and analyzes the plants on the job training performance and employee skills data for best practice and training effectiveness, advises on improvements and requirements, and reports results, progress and outcomes to Supervisors, Ops managers and Plant Managers.
The Technical Trainer maintains software programs supporting skills training, matrices, and other employee skills data, and maintains and distributes various reports as needed.
The TT works with stakeholders including employees in training to enhance the Great Dane training process.
Other data collection and entry activities may be required.
Key
Responsibilities:
Ensures station specific trainers are training employees on station specific safety, quality and efficiency needs in accordance with Standard Work Sheets and Standard Work Element Sheets.
Monitors the OJT process and trainer performance, provides ongoing OJT for trainers, and provides feedback and suggestions for improvement to Managers, Supervisors, Team Leads and Trainers.
Interacts with employees to gauge performance levels and skill retention.
Audits station training records to compare results.
Monitors employee's skills and records employee skill data in training matrices.
Provides reports on station training health.
Interfaces with Onboarding staff about specific needs and focus for each station/new employee.
Participates in the evaluation of new employee in terms of placement (cognitive, aptitude, physical and technical skills) Assists with engaging new employees and welcoming them into the Great Dane Organization.
Helps in the management of conflict and interpersonal problems.
Serves as a sounding board for new employees.
Ensures appropriate training quality standards are applied throughout processes.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma.
College preferred.
Experience:
1-3
years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and training Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Data collection and entry.
Attentive to detail and consistency.
Maintain records.
Ability to interact with Great Dane personnel.
Knowledge of Standard Work Sheets and Standard Work Element Sheets Overall Plant knowledge Knowledge of Safety and Quality standards Communication skills Ability to provide OJT Travel:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
